Welcome to YachtPass! By accessing or using the YachtPass platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

YachtPass Platform: a digital platform developed and operated by YachtPass B.V. designed to streamline boat documentation, management and communication for boat owners and dealerships.

Physical YachtPass: a passport-sized physical document generated through the platform, used for check-ins at harbours, ports and immigration points.

Digital Vault: a secure, encrypted storage feature within the platform for Vessel Documents such as proof of ownership, registration papers and bills of sale, accessible only to the boat owner and, where applicable, the connected dealership.

Ticketing System: an integrated support feature enabling management of service requests and communication between boat owners and dealerships, including a full audit trail of all interactions.

Vessel Documents: documents related to vessel ownership, registration and compliance, stored securely in the Digital Vault and accessible only to the boat owner and the relevant connected dealership.

Manuals: operational guides and technical documents stored in a shared manual database, accessible by all YachtPass users as a community resource.

AI ChatBoat: an AI-powered feature that provides informational responses to user queries based on data available within the shared manuals. The AI ChatBoat provides general guidance only and does not constitute professional advice.

User: any natural person who accesses, registers for or uses the YachtPass platform, whether as a boat owner, dealership employee or otherwise.

Service(s): any functionality provided by YachtPass through the platform, including but not limited to the Digital Vault, Physical YachtPass, Ticketing System, AI ChatBoat and shared manual database.

Dealership: a professional boat dealership that has entered into a separate cooperation agreement with YachtPass B.V. for the use of the Dealership Portal.

Privacy Policy: the separate privacy policy of YachtPass B.V., available at yachtpass.eu/privacy, which describes in detail how personal data is collected, processed, stored and protected.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

2.1 Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to register and use YachtPass. Access is limited to individuals within jurisdictions where the use of YachtPass complies with applicable local laws and regulations.
